GREEN BAY, Wis. - Senior Bjorn Schantz won the 200, 500 and 1,000 free events and Cleveland State won 13 of the meet's 16 events en route to a 206-94 win on Saturday (Oct. 28) at UW-Green Bay. The Vikings are now 2-0 and 1-0 in Horizon League action.

Schantz did a lot of damage for the Vikings in a short period of time. Hestarted his day by clocking a 9:36.35 in the 1,000 free before winning the very next event, the 200 free, in1:44.03. Schantz's winning time of 4:38.47 in the 500 free was over 11 seconds ahead of second place finisher Alex Hill of UW-Green Bay.

"Bjorn had an excellent meet today," head coach Wally Morton said. "He won the 1,000 free and had no rest before the 200 free and still had a good time. And his performance in the 500 free was one of his best races of the season."

The only events CSU didn't win were the 100 and 200 back and the 50 free.

Sophomore Stef Potgieter had a very busy day, winning both the 100 and 200 breaststroke, finishing second in the 200 IM and swimming the second leg of the winning 400 medley relay team.

"Stef has improved his technique and conditioning dramatically," Morton said. "His strokes are getting better and it definitely showed today."

Sophomore Nedim Nisic won the100 free and 200 fly and senior Chris Dalman won both the one- and three-meter dives. He has not lost a diving event this season.

"Overall, I was happy with our performance," Morton said. "We are getting the results we want but we still have a long way to go."
