KALAMAZOO, Mich. – The Cleveland State women's tennis team had a successful opening day of the Bronco Super Challenge Friday, picking up multiple victories in singles and doubles action.
Golawksa and Perin both picked up wins against opponents from Indiana, Golawska with a 6-3, 6-0 victory and Perin with a 6-3, 6-1 win. Schober posted her victory in a 6-4, 6-0 match against Notre Dame, while Lenoan earned a 6-2, 6-4 win against Western Michigan and Schoenberg posted a 6-1, 6-0 victory against DePaul.
The Vikings were also successful on the doubles courts Friday, picking up three wins out of their five matches. Golawska and Schoenberg went 2-0 on the day – with wins over Western Michigan and Colorado State – while Isabella Spindler and Schober also picked up a win against the Broncos.
Cleveland State will continue play at the Bronco Super Challenge tomorrow, with one of singles and two rounds of doubles.
