Lauren Bornstein will begin her first season at Cleveland State during the 2019-20 season, serving as the team’s director of basketball operations. Bornstein will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of the women’s basketball team, travel arrangements and practice coordination.
Bornstein joins the Vikings following stints with the BIG EAST Conference Office Washington Wizards and Washington Mystics.
During her three seasons with the Wizards and Mystics, Bornstein spent two as the Basketball Operations Intern and one as the Sales Event Planning Intern, while she served as the Basketball Operations Assistant during her time with the BIG EAST.
Bornstein graduated with a degree in sport management from the University of Florida in 2016, where she served as a student manager for the women’s basketball team.
