CLEVELAND, Ohio – The Cleveland State track and field team will kickoff the indoor season this weekend, participating in the BGSU Opener on Saturday, December 1.
Saturday's meet will be the first of six indoor meets during the 2018-19 campaign, and the only contest during the 2018 calendar year.
Cleveland State will be one of four teams competing at the BGSU Opener, joining Miami (Ohio), Ball State and the host Falcons.
The Vikings are under the direction of third-year head coach Madeleine Outman Carleton, and return 11 letterwinners from last year's indoor squad. Included in this group is the trio of Anna Brandt, Julianne Dorothal and Hannah Gaskins, who all earned podium finishes at the #HLTF Indoor Championships last season.
Cleveland State enters the season looking to improve on its success from last year, as the Vikings set program records in 15 of the 17 events that they competed in during the indoor season. A complete list of Cleveland State Track & Field Records can be FOUND HERE.
