Sivic, Wood Lift Women's Soccer Past Green Bay, 1-0

GREEN BAY, Wis. - Amanda Sivic scored her fifth goal of the season and Sarah Wood posted her fifth shutout of the year as the Cleveland State women's soccer team earned a key 1-0 victory at Green Bay in Horizon League action on Saturday afternoon.

CSU improved to 8-7-1 overall and 2-3 in the Horizon League, while Green Bay slipped to 4-6-4 overall and 1-3 in league play.

Wood, the Horizon League leader in saves, made seven saves this afternoon to raise her season total to 104.

The lone goal came in the 82nd minute when Sivic found a loose ball in front of the goal after a corner kick from Haleigh Shingary and knocked it in the back of the net.

The Vikings are back in action on Saturday (Oct. 26) when CSU hosts Oakland at 7:00 p.m. in the regular season home finale at Krenzler Field.
