Rachel Goddard is beginning her second season with the Cleveland State women’s basketball team, serving as the team’s graduate assistant for the 2018-19 season. Goddard will be responsible for a variety of gameday duties, along with assisting in the day-to-day operations of the women’s basketball office.
Goddard joins the Vikings following a standout career at Division II Malone University where she was a three-time All-League honoree. As the team’s leading scorer during her junior and senior seasons, Goddard eclipsed the 1,000-point milestone during her final campaign and helped the Pioneers capture the G-MAC tournament title – earning a berth in the NCAA DII tournament for the first time in program history.
A native of Wadsworth, Ohio, Goddard graduated from Malone in May of 2017 with a degree in psychology and is currently pursuing her graduate degree at Cleveland State.
