Six Cleveland State Games to Air on CW 43

CLEVELAND, Ohio – The Cleveland State University Department of Athletics announced that it is partnering with the CW 43 Cleveland to air six men's basketball games on the network this season.

The partnership was facilitated by Learfield's Vikings Sports Properties division.

"We are thrilled to partner with the CW 43 Cleveland and believe this is a great opportunity to expand our reach and showcase Cleveland State basketball throughout northeast Ohio," CSU Director of Athletics Mike Thomas said. "I believe this is also a partnership that has the potential to expand in future seasons."

A listing of the games that will be televised live on Cleveland's CW station is available below. All six contests are part of the Vikings' 18-game Horizon League slate.

"WUAB has long been the true broadcast home of Northeast Ohio sports—going back to the days of Indians and Cavaliers," CLE 43 WUAB Vice President and General Manager Erik Schrader commented. "Now add Cleveland State University college basketball. We're excited about this opportunity and partnership. It's a win for our station, the viewers we serve and the Cleveland State University community."

These televised games, like all CSU regular-season home games, will also be available through the ESPN app on ESPN3 or ESPN+. Al Pawlowski, who is in his 14th season as the Vikings' primary radio voice, will call the action while Pat Vuyancih, a member of the 1986 CSU "Sweet 16" team, will serve as the color commentator.

CW 43 Cleveland is an over-the-air station that reaches more than 3.5 million people in 17 counties across northeast Ohio.

Cleveland State advanced to the Horizon League championship game this past March in what was head coach Dennis Felton's first season at the helm.
